Digital Media Associate

August 2021 - Present

Currently, as a Digital Media Associate, I handle all client communication and maintain client relationships by creating a “Raving Fan” culture. I am also in charge of coordinating successful campaign launches, monitoring campaign pacing closely to ensure all campaigns perform and deliver in full, assisting Finance team in billing executions and discrepancies, and training and onboarding new hires. I have mastered the basics of digital media strategy and programmatic buying during my time here. Aside from this, I manage insertion orders & all post IO media plan revisions. I also streamline all communication and processes with internal teams to ensure all campaigns are launched successfully. I prepare client deliverables such as mockups for live campaigns, meeting notes, and insertion orders. I manage all flight calendars and all live business for assigned accounts, along with supporting internal teams with media planning, research materials, and campaign activation responsibilities. I also assist with campaign optimizations and reporting. Lastly, I organize and host weekly campaign status meetings, and distribute write ups for internal teams (providing status on all live campaigns).

Creative Director

Lady Lope Series
Jan - May 2021

During my last semester of college at The University of Texas at Dallas, I had the amazing opportunity to be the co-creative director of my course's nonfiction web series. The project, titled Lady Lope, premiered as a three-part series via the ATEC CMS Lab YouTube channel. Not only did I create the overall vision and look of the series, but I delegated tasks to team members, did weekly check-ins with the team and professor, and actively participated in various aspects of the project. I helped with academic research, facilitated writing and editing of the episode scripts, and managed the video editing and production process. Overall, I streamlined the entire process and oversaw the team of seven to make sure all deadlines were met within a very short timeline. The entire three-part series can be viewed here.

Social Media & Marketing Intern

During my Social Media & Marketing internship at The Food Hall Co. (Legacy Hall), I learned an immense amount about marketing and working in a professional setting. I managed Legacy Hall’s social media and general online presence (WordPress, Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, Google Business, Twitter, email newsletter, and more). Additionally, I honed my writing skills by writing for the company blog, newsletter, and social media pages. I also took and edited photos for social media and event promotion. I communicated regularly with guests online and produced engaging content and copy for all platforms using the appropriate brand voice. I facilitated company events and participated in marketing brainstorming sessions. Moreover, I conducted marketing research for Legacy Hall as needed, such as compiling lists of vendors for events or finding potential influencers to work with.

I also honed a valuable professional skillset. Working in the professional office space, I learned to collaborate with the marketing team and met deadlines in a timely and organized fashion. I also strengthened my verbal and communication skills on the job by constantly communicating with both guests and coworkers alike.

Guest Service Representative

Nothing Bundt Cakes
May 2019 - Apr 2020

At my first job as a Guest Service Representative (GSR) at Nothing Bundt Cakes, I gained a professional skillset that carried me through my later years in the office environment. I was in charge of serving Nothing Bundt Cakes guests both in person and over the phone with creative solutions on the spot. I was also in charge of performing side work duties for the crafting department, some light cleaning, and some clerical duties to streamline day-to-day activities.

Here, I got to provide excellent customer service while also strengthening my interpersonal and communication skills with both coworkers and guests alike.
