During my last semester of university, I had the opportunity to be the creative director of my course's nonfiction web series. The series, titled Lady Lope, was an all-encompassing project which showcased my scriptwriting, creative direction, research, project coordination, leadership, video production, and visual design skills.
Not only did I help create the overall vision and look of the series, but I delegated tasks to team members, did weekly check-ins with the team and professor, and actively participated in various aspects of the project. I took on academic research, facilitated writing and editing of the episode scripts, and managed the video editing and production process. Overall, I streamlined the entire process and oversaw the team of seven to make sure all deadlines were met within a very short timeline.
Lady Lope is a nonfiction web series examining media (film, tv, and video games) through an intersectional feminist lens.
The three-part YouTube series focused on Daughters of the Dust, Never Have I Ever, and Doki Doki Literature Club.
